A prominent leader of the Indian independence movement, Gandhi advocated for non-violent civil disobedience and led numerous peaceful protests and campaigns against British colonial rule. He is known for his philosophy of Satyagraha and was instrumental in India’s independence in 1947.<\/p>\n

India’s first prime minister, Nehru was a key figure in the Indian independence movement and a close associate of Gandhi. He was a socialist and a proponent of secularism and democracy, and played a leading role in shaping India’s post-independence policies.<\/p>\n

A fiery nationalist and militant leader, Bose was a strong advocate of complete independence from British rule and formed the Indian National Army to fight against the British during World War II. He was also the founder of the Forward Bloc, a political party that espoused socialist ideals.<\/p>\n

A socialist revolutionary, Singh was a prominent figure in the Indian independence movement and played a key role in the struggle against British colonial rule. He is known for his advocacy of violence as a means of achieving independence and was executed by the British at the age of 23.<\/p>\n
