National Heroes
Mahatma Gandhi
A prominent leader of the Indian independence movement, Gandhi advocated for non-violent civil disobedience and led numerous peaceful protests and campaigns against British colonial rule. He is known for his philosophy of Satyagraha and was instrumental in India’s independence in 1947.
Jawaharlal Nehru
